Reflexology

I use the feet reflex points to pinpoint areas in the body with stuck energy, and then hold consistent, but tolerable pressure to send energy to these blocked areas. Often organs which respond to stress show up as blocked (kidneys, adrenals, bladder). Regular release of these blocked areas allows the client to reduce their chronic stress level. Clients with airborne allergies have sensitivity in their sinus points. Within a few sessions the allergies often clear up.

Diabetics show sensitivity in the pancreas. Those taking prescription drugs have liver sensitivity, due to the liver having the added load of breaking down the toxic load of the drugs. I have found that my regular clients with these conditions improve significantly over a period of months, as the clearing of blocked energy in these organs allows them a chance to regenerate and heal.

Reflexology is as old as acupuncture, and was practiced by the Egyptians, Indians, and Chinese thousands of years ago. Reflexology is as effective, and sometimes more effective than acupuncture, gives the client direct feedback about which parts of the body are out of balance, and is more convenient than acupuncture because needles are not used. The feet are used to locate and release the blocked areas, although reflexology can also be done on the hands.
