Egyptian Priestess CD (2006)

Listen to free 30-second samples (lo-fi 96kbps mp3)

The music draws on my journeys through Egypt, Brazil, Costa Rica, and Mexico. It is more upbeat than the Sabai Nuat Thai CD. Dancer friends enjoy the layered rhythms in each song, which they say let them move in different ways to the same track. I keep the musical structure simple so those rhythmic layers stand out. The CD features African, Brazilian, and Middle Eastern drumming. I hope you enjoy dancing to it.
